Yellow Crown Imperial Fritillary, or Fritillaria 'Lutea,' is an exceptional, winter-hardy bulb that you don't see too often! It blooms in mid-spring, and it features sunny, yellow-chartreuse flowers on tall stems.
Fritillaria are naturally deer-resistant thanks to their fragrance, and this bulb, in particular, makes for a great cut flower!
- LIGHT: Partial sun; partial shade
- WATER: Water deeply and thoroughly when the top couple inches of soil dries.
- ZONE: Winter-hardy perennial; winter-hardy in zones 5-8
