Welcome to the Handbuilding Mini Container Garden with Tray Workshop at Groovy Plants Ranch! Learn the art of handbuilding clay to create your own mini container garden consisting of 3 planters and clay tray. Our expert instructors will guide you through the process, no experience necessary!Participants will start with rolled out slabs of clay and precut templates. You will then learn the "push mold" technique to create your rectangular tray. A variety of tools and molds will be provided to decorate your pieces. In this class you will learn about the basics on bonsai, repotting, wiring, watering, and most importantly, how to keep it alive! You will also have a hands-on workshop where you will get to pick a tree and pot and make one for yourself to take home!

Class #2 Forest | Join us for a journey through the world of bonsai, and specifically the design of forest bonsai. Building forests adds a new layer of creativity and fun, and often can start to look more “bonsai like” much quicker due to have several trees in one assembly.
