Calling all native plant lovers! Echinacea purpurea is a beloved Ohio native, and it's one of our favorites. Cone flowers are remarkably easy to care for. They don't ask for much, and in return, you get a heat and drought-resistant plant that brings in TONS of pollinators.

• WATER: Water deeply and thoroughly when the top couple inches of soil dries.
• SIZE: 18-24" tall by 2-3' wide
• ZONE: Native winter-hardy perennial; winter-hardy in zones 3-9
