'Jaap Groot' is the happiest of accidents, being an unexpected mutation of Tulip 'Golden Apeldoorn.' 'Jaap Groot' forms clusters of layered buttercream petals – beautiful, rich yellows highlighted with white edging. Darwin Tulips are prized for their large size and sturdy, weather-resistant stems.
