Nepenthes 'Gaya' Pitcher Plant

Nepenthes 'Gaya' is a vigorous grower with an appetite to match! 'Gaya' features beautifully speckled, stout, bulbous pitchers that capture unsuspecting bugs. It's a beginner-friendly pitcher plant, and it's adaptable to a variety of conditions.

Pitcher plants are nature's bug zappers! Nepenthes draws bugs into their pitchers by producing a sweet-scented nectar. Once the bugs are inside the pitcher, they're trapped and slowly digested by a specialized enzyme. 

Because of their carnivorous diet, you should not feed your pitcher plants with fertilizer!

• LIGHT: Partial sun
• WATER: Water deeply and thoroughly when the top couple inches of soil dries.
• ZONE: Tropical houseplant; winter-hardy in zones 11-12
• SIZE: 1-1.5' long at mature size; pitchers average 4-6" long
