Hoya sp. SR 2007-13 is an easy grower with an interesting name. Collected in the Loei Province in Thailand, this Hoya remains undescribed, lacking a formal botanical name, but that doesn't stop it from being a standout among Hoya. Hoya sp. SR 2007-13 features long, thick foliage with plenty of delightfully splashy variegation. This wax plant holds up well to infrequent waterings, and is considered a GREAT beginner Hoya despite its rarity.
Hoya, more commonly known as wax plants, are a genus of well over 500 different plants. Most of them are either epiphytes or lithophytes, growing on other plants or surfaces. Because they don't typically grow in the ground, Hoya prefer a chunky, well-draining potting mix that doesn't retain water for too long. Keep your Hoya in a space indoors with plenty of bright sunlight and water when the potting mix is almost completely dry.
