Hailing all the way from the Himalayas, Hoya globulosa is instantly recognizable with long, stiff, bright green leaves with beautiful, dark venation and a slight fuzziness to them. It looks totally different from your average Hoya, and this rare wax plant is surprisingly easy to care for despite its striking appearance.

Hoya, more commonly known as wax plants, are a genus of well over 500 different plants. Most of them are either epiphytes or lithophytes, growing on other plants or surfaces. Because they don't typically grow in the ground, Hoya prefer a chunky, well-draining potting mix that doesn't retain water for too long. Keep your Hoya in a space indoors with plenty of bright sunlight and water when the potting mix is almost completely dry.
