Duo of Tillandsia Purpurea Large Form 6"

Hailing from the arid coastal deserts of Peru, this isn't your average dainty little air plant. The Large Form grows bigger, bolder, and beefier, sporting a striking gorgeous silhouette with stiff, cascading leaves heavily frosted in silvery trichomes(tiny hair-like or crystal-like outgrowths on the surface of plants). Their trichomes act like tiny solar panels and water catchers, making this guy insanely drought-tolerant and tough as nails.

 Plus, when it decides to bloom, it throws up a vibrant pink-to-purple floral spike that pops with deep violet flowers. Unlike most Tillandsias, the blossoms carry a sweet, distinct scent reminiscent of cinnamon and spice!

You will receive 2 Tillandsia Purpurea Airplants! 

• LIGHT: Bright indirect light to low light. No direct sunlight. 
• WATER: Soak in distilled water, or rain water once every other week for about 30 min. Then allow to dry upside down so water does not settle in the base causing rot.
