Dahlia ‘Emory Paul’ is legendary among the dahlia world for producing some of the absolute largest flowers in the plant kingdom. We’re talking colossal, dinnerplate-plus blooms that can span a up to 12 to 14 inches across. Dressed in rich, saturated shades of magenta, hot pink, and orchid-purple with slightly ruffled petals, this dahlia will make every single visitor to your garden stop dead in their tracks.

• LIGHT: Full sun; partial sun
• WATER: Water deeply and thoroughly when soil begins to dry.
• ZONE: Zones 8–11 (In Zones 3–7, dig tubers up after the first light frost and store indoors over winter)
• SIZE: 3.5 – 4.5 feet tall (Heavy-duty staking is mandatory to support these massive blooms!)
• GROOVY TIP: 'Emory Paul' buds appear in clusters of three. To get max 12+ inch blooms, pinch off the two side buds on each cluster stem, leaving only the central main bud to receive all the plant's resources.
