'Caramel' Coral Bells has foliage in all-encompassing shades of orange: apricot, amber, creamsicle, peach, and–of course–caramel gold. The undersides of the leaves are a stunning wine-red color, and offer plenty of color and texture throughout the garden.

While the genus that makes up Coral Bells–Heuchera–is native to North America, 'Caramel' is a Parisian showstopper. Discovered in 2003 by French nursery owners, 'Caramel' has superb parentage that gives it excellent heat and humidity tolerance that other Coral Bells could only dream of having.

In mid-summer, airy, wispy spikes with light pink bell-shaped flowers pop up, which attracts a myriad of pollinators like hummingbirds and butterflies. 'Caramel' does best in full shade to part shade locations outdoors and prefers deep, consistent waterings throughout the growing season. Since it forms a dense clump, 'Caramel' Coral Bells is a fantastic plant for edging, mass plantings, and container gardening where its bright pop of foliage pairs great with darker leaves, like those of the Japanese Painted Ferns.
