We potted up 3,000 Peonies nearly 6 months ago, just for our Peony Palooza! Now that they're starting to wake up from their winter sleep, we're getting pretty excited.

Peonies really are a legacy plant like no other. They connect us across generations and huge distances. Many varieties date back over 200 years old, and tree peonies in China have been grown for thousands of years. And how about Itoh Peonies, years of painstaking hybridizing from artist breeders on a mission to make the most amazing garden Peonies the world has ever known! To grow peonies is really to grow a piece of history, and they live long enough to be passed through generations!

We have a Peony here at The Ranch from my Great, Great Grandmother dating back to the late 1800's, and it's been shared many times over. As we gear up for the much anticipated Peony Palooza, we're humbled to be able to offer over 80 varieties, each with its own story and unique characteristics.
