Purple Poppy Mallow
Bursting with color all summer long, Purple Poppy Mallow – also known as Winecups – is famous for its massive display of chalice-shaped magenta flowers on trailing foliage.
Its Poppy-like flowers open in the morning for pollinator action, and they close up at night. Purple Poppy Mallow is a native wildflower that's exceptionally drought-tolerant, thanks to its deep tap root. Fun fact: It's a host plant for the Gray Hairstreak butterfly!
