Named after the iconic Australian river cascades, this stunning informal decorative dahlia serves up magnificent, large 7- to 9-inch blooms full of movement and depth. Each flower features a deep, velvety heart of rich burgundy-red to vibrant magenta, with slightly twisted, arching petals that split and point outwards into crisp, frosty-white tips.

• LIGHT: Full sun; partial sun

• WATER: Water deeply and thoroughly when soil begins to dry

• ZONE: Zones 8–11 (In Zones 3–7, dig tubers up after the first light frost and store indoors over winter)

• SIZE: 3.5 to 4.5 feet tall

• GROOVY TIP: Plant 'Yarra Falls' in front of a light silver or pale background (like Dusty Miller, Artemisia, or a light-colored fence). The pale background mirrors the white petal tips, creating a high-contrast visual illusion that pulls the deep velvety centers out at you!

Notes: Images are a representation of the flower produced by the tuber you will receive. Each plant is unique, and small variations in leaf and plant size, color, etc. is to be expected.
