Dahlia Black Touch | Premium Fimbriata Dahlia

Summer flowering bulb orders will be available to pick up starting: ___________________ at The Ranch. If your bulbs are shipping, they will ship at a similar time!

This dramatic fimbriated semi-cactus beauty features 4- to 6-inch blooms in a deep, velvety shade of rich burgundy-maroon that borders on pure black at the center. What makes 'Black Touch' extra special are its intricately split, laciniated petal tips that give each flower a soft, feathery, almost fringed texture.

• LIGHT: Full sun; partial sun

• WATER: Water deeply and thoroughly when soil begins to dry

• ZONE: Zones 8–11 (In Zones 3–7, dig tubers up after the first light frost and store indoors over winter)

• SIZE: 3.5 – 4 feet tall

• GROOVY TIP: If you're using them for dramatic bouquets, harvest your 'Black Touch' stems in the early morning before the sun hits them. Strip off all lower foliage, and plunge the stem ends into 2 to 3 inches of hot tap water for 30 minutes. This seals in the dark pigments, clears air bubbles from the stem tissue, and extends your vase life by up to 4 full days!

• WHAT YOU WILL RECIEVE: 3 PREMIUM DAHLIA TUBERS

Notes: Images are a representation of the flower produced by the tuber you will receive. Each plant is unique, and small variations in leaf and plant size, color, etc. is to be expected.
