This iconic dinnerplate dahlia serves up giant, fully double blooms in soft, creamy pale yellow that glow like pure sunshine from a warm buttery center. Each petal gently curves and twists, giving the massive heads a fluffy, textured look full of depth and elegance.

• LIGHT: Full sun; partial sun

• WATER: Water deeply and thoroughly when soil begins to dry

• ZONE: Zones 8–11 (In Zones 3–7, dig tubers up after the first light frost and store indoors over winter)

• SIZE: 3.5 to 4.5 feet tall

• GROOVY TIP: If you want blooms that reach legendary, giant proportions, try disbudding: snip off the small side buds right next to the central main flower bud on each branch. By directing all the plant's energy into just the main terminal bloom, you'll get mind-bogglingly huge, award-worthy flowers that are guaranteed to turn heads!
