Corkscrew Hazelnut - Corylus avellana 'Contorta'

Sold Out

Corkscrew Hazelnut, also known as Harry Lauder's Walking Stick, is a truly spectacular plant, and one we're thrilled to offer! Nothing tops this plant's architecture. Naturally occurring contortions cause the branches to take on a twisty, squiggly shape over time. It's gorgeous during every season – even winter – and not many plants can say that!

Crinkled, textured leaves fill the spiraling branches during spring and summer. Come late winter and early spring, Corkscrew Hazelnut produces dangling, yellow-orange catkins that hang off the bare branches. Don't let this one pass you by!
