Helleborus 'Nightingale'

Helleborus  'Nightingale' is a showstopper in the winter garden. Its large, outward-facing, reddish-plum flowers are stunning, especially when the winter sun shines through them. The plant's big, dark green leaves create attractive evergreen mounds. 'Nightingale' blooms for months, starting in February, with huge flowers on tall stems (up to 1.5 feet). This Hellebore thrives in sun or part sun (not shade), is deer-resistant, and grows well in containers or the ground. It's hardy to zone 5 (likely zone 4 with winter protection).
