Senecio scaposus var addoensis | Rare Succulent from the Huntington Botanical Gardens
Senecio scaposus var addoensis is a Huntington Botanical Gardens succulent introduction from 2009. "It was collected by Michael Vassar from shallow soil over a massive east-facing rock mountainside up the turn off to Melville Dam, Eastern Cape, South Africa."* This very cool Senecio is covered in dense white fuzz. As the plant grows older the green color of the leaves shows through the protective fuzzy coating.
